You all have experienced it, and you know how the Greater Madison Writing Project participants enjoy and value the Author’s Chair. It stands out as one of the memorable parts of the writing project experience. Many of you were writers before joining the writing project. Many of you rediscovered your writing self because of GMWP. We are inviting you to share and celebrate writing through an Author’s Chair evening. You can share that lovely poem, narrative memoir, children’s story, belief statement, a significant blog you wrote, or a bit about your novel.
Anybody who has participated in a writing project activity can volunteer to read. The Author’s Chair gala gives us a chance to revel in the beautiful writing that you and others have done.
